Shama Mrema is an African-born American-raised comedian, host, actor and emcee. After taking the internet by storm in 2018 with his viral song “Veggie Tales Remix,” he has been a dominant force in comedy and entertainment.

After the success of “Veggie Tales Remix,” TBN created a spin-off show based on the song for Yippee TV. Where Shama starred and co-wrote music for the entire season, this was the beginning of a relationship with TBN that would cultivate in Shama hosting the pre-show for the 52nd Annual Dove Awards and K-Love Fan Awards.

With over 500 million combined views on his hilarious comedy sketches and music videos, Shama has been featured in publications such as Hope Nation, Relevant Magazine, Rapzilla,  and many more.

Whether it’s his awkward attempts to keep marital romance alive, his spot-on impressions of public figures, or riffing on the behavior of his kids, Ed’s show is a blend of smart and zany that brings everyone on board for a hilarious ride.
