The Bowers Beach Buccaneer Bash is one of the East Coast’s premier pirate festivals, and a beloved highlight of the Delaware summer calendar. Now celebrating it’s 14th year, the Bash is a free, public, family friendly event, hosted by the Bowers Beach Maritime Museum.
Our mission is to share the regions rich maritime history, through hands-on education and immersive, engaging entertainment. This year‘s Bash features interactive living history demonstrations, traditional colonial crafts, and a live cannon line, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
Attendees will also enjoy craft, food and beverage vendors, plus three stages of sea shanties, pirate rock and swashbuckling pirate fun.
