On May 7, 2026, Baker Park will become the gathering place for middle school, high school, and college students as National Day of Prayer Frederick hosts its 13th Annual Youth Prayer Rally. This year's event holds special significance as it coincides with two historic milestones: the 75th anniversary of the National Day of Prayer and America's 250th birthday.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Community Prayer Walk: Maryland Christian Chamber of Commerce's Prayer Leader will conduct a prayer walk through Baker
Park; meet at Gazebo at 3:30 PM.
- Color Guard Opening: Hood College ROTC will open the Rally with a formal presentation of Colors at 6:00 PM.
- Student-Led Worship: Local student musicians lead live worship throughout the evening.
- Peer-to-Peer Prayer: Students lead prayers for schools, families, government, churches, and the next generation.
- Youth Evangelist: Hear a life-changing testimony from Teen Challenge.
- Free Food & Community: Complimentary food for all attendees in a welcoming environment open to students of all
backgrounds.
