Chopped Jr. is coming to the Greenwood Public Library on April 17 & 24 for a two-part cooking class and competition with Chef Charles!

Kids ages 7 to 17 will learn how to cook starches, vegetables, basic sauces, and proteins in the first class. In the second class, kids will create a meal through competition. Their meal will be judged on appearance, flavor, and creativity. Each child will receive a gift bag at this class. Participants must be present for both classes. Please register for both classes at greenwood.lib.de.us. This program is designed to teach patrons valuable cooking skills in a fun and upbeat environment while covering topics such as nutrition, food prep, kitchen safety, cultural foods, and budgeting.
